Type 201 stainless steel is the most widely-use in hotel items .Type 201 is a North American grade developed at a time when world nickel prices were very high. As a solution to these high prices, this type of stainless steel was created with reduced nickel (Ni) and a higher level of manganese (Mn) in its composition. It is harder, stronger, and less elastic than type 304.
